Why exercise every day ?
Why not? I mean we know that exercise excites the brain, releases chemicals that give you energy, elevates mood, cleares unwelcome thoughts, leads to improved self esteem and has a beneficial effect on your physical body. The question is WHY WOULDN'T YOU EXERCISE EVERY DAY?Ok, I'm in! but how do I make sure I do it?
Good question, glad you asked. There are lots of things you can do to increase the chances that you stick to your daily exercise commitment. But one is more important than all the others.Take a moment to stop and think about the questions below before you answer.
Deep down are you really committed to becoming more active?
Have you thought about the how you will feel once exercise has become part of your life?
Can you imagine enjoying exercise?
Can you imagine being like the joggers you see marching past you on the street, craving that feeling of satisfied exhaustion?
Do you understand the health benefits exercise will bring?
Have you thought about how much your relationships with other people will improve once you have the additional energy that exercise can provide?
Read through those questions again and make sure you are 100% fully committed because it's that deep commitment to yourself that matters most.

Ok so you made it to this paragraph, I assume that means you are ready to rock and roll because the information below is for the people who actually want to change their lives for the better, it's for the people who walk the walk.
Ok, so how do you do it? Well here is what you do.
Make a plan, start small, record your progress, congratulate yourself when you exercise no matter how breifly. If you stumble and don't get exercise for an extended period don't beat yourself up, read through the questions above again and refresh your committment. Try different types of exercise, especially the stuff you don't think is "for you". Tennis doesn't appeal to you? GO AND TRY IT ANYWAY.
Find out what night your local club plays 'Social' games. Find people who are having fun exercising and ask if you can tag along, tell them straight that you are trying to get into exercising. Go for a walk right now, yes you heard me, right now. Go and walk around the block, the webpage will be here when you get back.
I think you get the message, there is a hundred and one ways you can support yourself and motivate yourself and get into the daily exercise habit, the most important thing is that you get started and are committed to finding what works for you.
